Let's be honest, when you're thinking about possible careers to pursue, the amount of money you could potentially make at that job definitely comes into play. It's pretty well known that business can be a very lucrative career path, but how exactly does marketing stack up?
When compared with other business fields such as accounting, finance, and supply chain, marketing has a lower average starting salary, $49,419. So coming straight out of college, you may be starting off with less pay than your fellow businessmen and women, but don't fear, because marketing also has the highest percentage of salary growth. Just by getting your master's degree you could be making almost $30,000 more already.

So, if you're considering a career in business with ample room for salary and professional growth, marketing may just be the route for you.
