 Marketing is a widely used term to define the means of communication between a company and the consumer audience. and it is the version of the commercial activities and use of organizations by the groups with a purpose to make communication change on a short-range or enduring basis.

  In marketing, the techniques used include choosing target markets through market examination, as well as using specific methods to have an effect on consumer conduct. Marketing planning involves the creation of strategies for the company to place advertising that reaches the buyer.

  
From a common point of view, marketing provides the link between a society's material requirements and its economic patterns. The goal of marketing is to please the needs of consumers through the building of long-term relations.


  
In the case of nonprofit group marketing, the goal is to represent the philosophy and message of the organization in order to promote their services to the appropriate audience. Governments often fund the marketing of messages with a social purpose that are made for citizens, such as a public health or safety messages.
